The Mining Code 2015 adopted by Law Decree 33-13 regulates exploration and exploitation of mineral and fossil substances. The official version of the primary law is in Arabic and there is an official translation of this law in French. The government regulating entity is the Ministry of Energy, Mines, Water and Environment (https://www.mem.gov.ma/). The country’s mining contracts are not available at resourcecontracts.org.
